Bolafjall Viewpoint

Trail description

A short 0.5 km walk near the top of Bolafjall, the 638 m mountain above Bolungarvik in the Westfjords. An observation deck with a view over Isafjardardjup opened on the mountain in 2022, reached by a steep road built in 1986. The summit also holds one of the four radar sites of the Iceland Air Defence System.
