Trail description
A short 0.8 km walk along the coast at Arnarstapi, the small fishing village at the foot of Stapafell on the south side of Snaefellsnes, passing near the Gatklettur arch. Place names around Arnarstapi and nearby Hellnar come from Bardar saga Snaefellsass, the tale of the half-human, half-ogre Bardur. The village was long a busy fishing port and trading place.
