Tatai Öreg-tó

Trail description

An 8.2 km loop with 58 m of climb around the Öreg-tó in Tata, starting and ending at Tata castle on the northern shore. It follows lakeside paths and roads down the east shore, round the southern end past the Tófarok pond and back up the west shore to the castle and the Cifra-malom mill. The Öreg-tó is an artificial lake and the oldest fish pond in the country, the largest lake of the Tata lakes Ramsar site.
