Mánfai-kőlyuk

Trail description

A 1.7 km walk with 69 m of climb from the Mánfa, Kőlyuk bus stop past the Czifra-malom up the valley to the Mánfai-kőlyuk, where the Mély-völgy and the Zsidó-völgy meet. The cave has the largest entrance in the Mecsek, 7-8 m high and 5-6 m wide, and the Eta and Gyula springs rise beside it. It has been strictly protected since 1982; its water once supplied Komló, and the waterworks keeps the cave locked, so it can only be entered with a permit.
