Trail description

A 4.3 km walk with 102 m of climb from the Suba-lyuk visitor centre car park near Cserépfalu up the Hór valley in the southern Bükk. After 0.8 km it passes the Suba-lyuk cave, where remains of Neanderthal people were found for the first time in Hungary, now a strictly protected cave in the Bükk National Park; the path then follows the Hór stream up the valley past the Ficsodor-kút spring and the Rókalyuk cave. Cold air flowing down the stream's gorge makes a wind the people of Répáshuta call the Hór szele.
