Trail description
A walk across L'Ancresse Common, the open grassland and golf links on Guernsey's northern tip. From Pembroke Bay it follows the footpaths behind L'Ancresse Bay past the Napoleonic loophole towers, out onto the headland at Fort Le Marchant, then alongside Fontenelle Bay to Fort Doyle. The common also holds the La Varde passage grave and other prehistoric burial sites.
