Alderney Longis Bay Walk

Trail description

A short walk on Alderney's south east coast, the island's oldest settled area with a Roman fort nearby. It starts above Longis Beach, backed by the anti tank wall built during the wartime occupation, and climbs past Essex Castle onto the higher ground to the west.
