Trail description

Walk 2 of Visit Alderney's self-guided walks follows the south cliffs west from St Anne past the Napoleonic Telegraph Tower and the site of Lager Sylt to the top of Telegraph Bay. It drops into the Val des Trois Vaux for the view of Les Etacs, where about 6,000 pairs of gannets nest from March to September, then climbs steeply to the Giffoine headland before returning past the airport. The cliff paths are narrow and close to the edge.
