Tajumulco Volcano from Tuichan. Tajumulco is the highest point in Central America at 4220 meters. The route starts from the hamlet of Tuichan and climbs through high-altitude meadows and forests up to the crater. Many campers stay overnight to reach the summit at sunrise, enjoying views of Mexico and the Guatemalan highlands.
