Volcán Jumay Jalapa

Trail description

Volcán Jumay dominates the city of Jalapa with its forested cone of 2182 m. From the village of Achiotes Jumay, the trail climbs through pine and oak forests to the summit, offering views of the valley and the eastern mountains, and descends via the same path. About 7.9 km round trip with nearly 800 m of elevation gain.
