Trail description

The Cerro Cahui Biotope protects the jungle on the shores of Lake Peten Itza near El Remate. Its trails lead up to viewpoints overlooking the lake through ceiba trees and tropical wildlife. It is a shaded hike, ideal for birdwatching and spotting monkeys.
