Tinos Three Capitals Loop (Tinos Trail T1)

Trail description

Tinos Trail T1 links the three capitals of the island in a circular route through the backcountry. It starts in Chora, the present capital, and passes the Holy Monastery of Virgin Mary Evangelistria, Poles, the capital in antiquity, and Xombourgo, the medieval capital. The return crosses the villages of Karya and Mountados, near the Kechrovounio monastery, and circles the Vaketa dam. It is 14.1 km with about 530 m of ascent.
