Livaditis Waterfall from Livaditis Village (Xanthi)

Trail description

A walk on the European E6 path from Livaditis, the highest mountain village of Xanthi, through beech forest to the Livaditis waterfall. The official route is about 4.6 km, around 1.2 km of it on an asphalt road and the rest on a woodland path with streams. The waterfall drops about 60 m and is often called one of the most powerful in the Balkans. The trail is rated medium and is most pleasant between May and October.
