Kampia to Kampia Beach through the Ravine (Chios)

Trail description

An easy, well-signed walk in the north of Chios from the village of Kampia down the Kampia ravine to the sea. The path follows the riverbed through dense pines, plane trees and wild roses, then climbs away from the bank across farmland. Near the end it passes below the castle of Oria on a huge sheer rock, which holds the chapel of Agia Paraskevi, before reaching Kampia beach. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours.
