Drakolimni (Dragon Lake) of Tymfi from Astraka Refuge

Trail description

A walk from the Astraka refuge across the alpine meadows of Mount Tymfi to Drakolimni, the famous Dragon Lake. The small lake lies at about 2,050 m in the alpine meadow of Tymfi. The marked path takes about an hour and a half from the refuge. Most people reach the refuge first from Mikro Papingo, then continue to the lake the same day or the next morning.
