Chios Kambos Estates

Trail description

A walk through the Kambos of Chios, a plain of walled citrus estates south of the town. High stone walls of ochre and grey enclose gardens of orange and lemon trees around grand Genoese mansions. Old waterwheels once turned by mules watered the groves.
