Trail description

A walk on the remote island of Gavdos, south of Crete, from the hamlet of Vatsiana to Cape Tripiti, the southernmost point of Europe. The cape is a rocky promontory with three sea arches beside a sandy beach, and a giant wooden chair built by locals stands above them. The path is not difficult but has no shade and no water, so carry plenty. The walk takes about 2 hours.
