Balta di Strinka Waterfall from Iliochori

Trail description

A short, signposted walk from the central square of Iliochori in eastern Zagori to the Balta di Strinka waterfalls. The path crosses lush vegetation and passes the stone bridge of Petsos on the way. The falls are three drops in a row, the largest over 25 m high, with small natural pools of icy water from the Kryopotamos stream at their base. The walk is family friendly, but the path can be muddy and slippery after rain.
