Babala Plateau from Kyparissi (Trail X4)

Trail description

Kyparissi is a remote seaside village on the east coast of Laconia, backed by the steep slopes of Parnon. Marked trail X4 climbs from the Vrysi quarter of the village to the upland plateau of Babala. The path narrows as it rises past terraced fields, gaining about 450 m. It links up with the longer X3 and X5 routes for hikers who want a full day in the hills.
