Trail description

Andros Route 13 starts at the school in the mountain village of Arni and follows the Arni river down to Lefka, an untouched beach on the northeast coast of Andros. Along the way the path passes a string of streams, farm cottages and striking rock formations, then the Lefka wetland just behind the beach. The Andros Routes network lists it at 8.5 km and about 3 hours, of moderate difficulty. Waymarking was finished from Arni to Remata but still in progress beyond, so carry a map or GPS track for the lower part.
