Agros to Sokraki via Valanio (Corfu Trail)

Trail description

This stage of the Corfu Trail leads through the sprawling villages of Agros and Agios Athanasios, then along a quiet country road past a wealthy monastery and on tracks to the road junction at Rekini. From Rekini it heads for Valanio, a village deep in the countryside, and tracks funnel the way up a deep valley. A cobbled path brings you into Sokraki, whose lively village square is a welcome place to stop. The official guide gives about 12 km, 4 hours and 250 m of ascent.
