Agios Georgios South to Paramonas via Lake Korission (Corfu Trail)

Trail description

From Agios Georgios in the south of Corfu, this stage of the Corfu Trail continues along the shoreline and across sand dunes covered with a forest of juniper trees to Lake Korission. North of the lake the route follows tracks and a section of road to reach Paramonas on the west coast. It is one of the flattest days on the trail, with about 100 m of ascent according to the official guide. There are tavernas at Korission and Halikounas and at Paramonas.
