Trail description

A 3 km climb from Breungeshain to the Taufstein (773 m), the highest summit of the Vogelsberg, crowned by a Bismarck tower completed in 1910. The Rhine-Weser watershed runs over the top; just to the north lies the raised bog of the Breungeshainer Heide, where the Nidda rises, and the busy Hoherodskopf, the Vogelsberg's second-highest summit, is 1 km to the south-west.
