Trail description

A 3 km walk on Usedom from Koserow over the wooded Streckelsberg to Kölpinsee. The Streckelsberg, a cliff dune about 58 m high and the third-highest point of the island, forms the highest part of the cliff on the Baltic shore. It was pushed up as a terminal moraine in the last ice age, and in heavy storms parts of the cliff still break away and slide down to the beach. To the south-east the cliff falls away gradually towards Kölpinsee.
