Trail description
A lakeside walk along the eastern shore of the Starnberger See from Starnberg past Percha and Kempfenhausen to Berg, where King Ludwig II of Bavaria died in the lake near Schloss Berg on 13 June 1886. A memorial cross marks the spot, and the Votivkapelle above it was consecrated in 1900; the König-Ludwig-Weg long-distance trail starts here. An easy walk near Munich.
