Trail description
A 4.7 km climb of about 900 m from the Auele bus stop above Hinterstein up a steep mountain path to the Schrecksee (1,813 m), an alpine lake with a small island in the Allgäu Alps. The road from Hinterstein is closed to private cars, so take the Giebelhaus bus to Auele.
