Trail description
A 7 km climb of about 450 m from Weißenstadt to the Schneeberg at 1,051 m, the highest summit of the Fichtel Mountains. The Backöfele, a wooden lookout on the granite top, looks over northern Bavaria and Bohemia. Most of the route follows forest tracks.
