Kemptner Hütte from Spielmannsau

Trail description

From Spielmannsau up the Trettach valley and through the steep Sperrbachtobel ravine to the Kemptner Hütte at 1,846 m. About 12.3 km out and back with some 970 m of climbing; the ravine section is rated as a demanding mountain path. In the Sperrbachtobel the path is partly secured with wire ropes, and old snow can lie there into June.
