Trail description

A 6.1 km climb of about 940 m from the Obersalzberg up the forest and the open ridge to the Kehlsteinhaus at 1,834 m, the 'Eagle's Nest' built for Hitler, now a restaurant. The road up is closed to private cars, so the path is the only way up without the bus. The top looks over the Königssee and the Berchtesgaden Alps.
