Trail description
A 10.4 km climb of about 1,140 m from St. Bartholomä on the Königssee, reached by boat, up the steep Saugasse with its many hairpins to the Kärlingerhaus hut by the Funtensee in the Steinernes Meer. The hut is a classic overnight stop, and the Funtensee basin is known as one of the coldest places in Germany.
