Trail description
A 7.1 km loop from Carwitz in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft on the Hauptmannsberg-Hullerbusch nature trail. The Hullerbusch is a beech forest on boulder-strewn ground between the Schmaler Luzin and the Zansen, shaped by the last ice age into boulder packs, outwash sand and kettle bogs; together with the narrow Schmaler Luzin, a tunnel-valley lake carved out beneath the glacier, it forms a 340 ha nature reserve. About 2 km of the loop follow the quiet lane through the Hullerbusch. The writer Hans Fallada lived in Carwitz from 1933 to 1944.
