Trail description
A 3.9 km loop from the Heilige Hallen car park at Lüttenhagen through the Heilige Hallen, an old beech forest 3.5 km west of Feldberg protected as a natural forest reserve. No timber or dead wood has been taken out since about 1950, only the paths are cleared after trees fall, and the unmanaged core zone was enlarged from 25 to 39.2 ha in 1998. The last part of the loop returns through Lüttenhagen.
