A 4.5 km climb of about 600 m from Kranzegg through pasture and forest to the Grünten at 1,738 m, the 'watchman of the Allgäu', with its transmitter mast and a war memorial on the summit. The summit looks over the Allgäu Alps and the lakes of the foothills.
