Trail description

A 1.5 km climb from the Oelberg car park to the Großer Ölberg (461 m), the highest mountain of the Siebengebirge near Bonn, where an inn with a viewing terrace looks out over the Siebengebirge, west to the Rhine and south to the Hohe Acht in the High Eifel. The first inn on the summit opened at Whitsun 1834, and King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia came up in 1842.
