Falkenstein from Pfronten-Meilingen

Trail description

From Pfronten-Meilingen up to the Falkenstein at 1,270 m, with the ruin of a medieval castle on top, the site where King Ludwig II planned a new castle. About 6.5 km out and back with some 400 m of climbing; the first half follows the narrow König-Ludwig-Weg road, the rest a forest path.
