Trail description

A 4.5 km walk of about 120 m from Moselkern up the wooded Elz valley to Burg Eltz, the fairy-tale castle on its rock above the stream. The first 1.2 km follow the Elztal lane out of the village; the castle has been owned by the same family for over 850 years and is open to visitors from spring to autumn.
