Concordiasee Path

Trail description

A walk along the open north rim of the Concordiasee in the Seeland near Nachterstedt, a flooded former lignite mine at the edge of the Harz. The south and east shores have been closed since the 2009 landslide, so there is no shore access: the path stays above the water, passing the Wanderstation and the Concordiasee viewpoint. An easy, level route with wide views over the lake.
