Trail description

A 1.8 km climb from Bad Urach to the ruins of Hohenurach castle (692 m) on the hill above the town, built between 1030 and 1050 and turned into one of the seven state fortresses of Württemberg between 1535 and 1555. The ruin itself has no inn, but there is food at the foot of the hill and at the nearby Uracher Wasserfall.
