Brodtener Ufer from Travemünde to Niendorf

Trail description

A 7.3 km walk from the north end of Travemünde beach along the Brodtener Ufer to Niendorf on the Bay of Lübeck. The cliff, more than 4 km long and up to 20 m high, is largely an active cliff that the Baltic cuts back by 50 to 100 cm a year, mostly in winter storms and after heavy rain, so keep back from the edge; the beach below is strewn with large boulders. In the middle the route turns inland on lanes for a stretch before returning to the cliff top.
