Trail description
An 11 km climb of about 870 m from Ilsenburg up the Ilse valley, past the cascades of the Ilse, and on by the Hirtenstieg to the Brocken (1,141 m), the highest point of the Harz. The first 3 km follow town streets and the valley road; the open summit has the Brocken railway station, a hotel and a granite rock garden.
