Trail description

The trail passes through the Kintrişi protected areas in the Kobuleti municipality of Adjara: from the Tskhemani shelter in the village of Didvake to a centuries-old yew tree, a Tertiary period relic listed in the Red Book, and to the ruins of the 8th-9th century Hinotsminda church. Lake Tbikeli lies at an altitude of 1900-2000 m, has an elongated oval shape and a depth of 7-8 m, and freezes over in winter. The Red Book-listed Caucasian newt inhabits the lake.
