Омало - озеро Орети

Trail description

The route begins at the visitor center in Nizhneye Omalo, follows the road to the village of Kumelaurta, and then climbs via a trail to Lake Oreti (approx. 2630 m). There are no springs after Kumelaurta, so you should carry your own water; the lake has a spring and a picnic area, and the surrounding area offers views across almost all of Tusheti. The best time for the hike is early summer, as the lake's water level drops significantly by September.
