Trail description

A classic Tusheti crossing from Omalo via the Gele Pass, descending through the Pirikiti Valley to the medieval village of Dartlo, approximately 12 km. Most of the route follows the Omalo - Dartlo - Girovo dirt road, passing defensive towers and terraces overlooking the river. A striking route through one of the most beautiful regions of Georgia.
