Trail description
A long 10.7 km climb of about 1,010 m from the floor of the Foret de Saou to Roche Courbe, 1,545 m, one of the Trois Becs. The forest fills a perched syncline, said to be one of the highest in Europe, closed like a ship's hull with only two road gaps; the Trois Becs, including Roche Courbe and Le Signal, rise on its eastern rim. The site has belonged to the Drome department since 2003, and the Vebre river rises at the foot of the Trois Becs.
