Refuge du Rulhe depuis le Pla de las Peyres

Trail description

From the Pla de las Peyres car park at the end of the road above the Laparan dam the path climbs to the Refuge du Rulhe at 2,185 m. About 6.3 km out and back with some 490 m of climbing. The hut is staffed in summer; book ahead if you plan to stay the night. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise as you walk and never approach a bear.
