Trail description
From the Les Molliettes car park at Praz de Lys, the route passes the Lac de Roy and follows the eastern leg of the waymarked Pic du Marcelly loop by the Combe de Gron to the summit cross of the Pointe de Marcelly, also known as the Pic de Marcelly. The last 200 m to the top are more demanding T3 ground. The summit is the highest point of the commune of Taninges, and its cross, built of sheet-metal plates, stands 13 m high and is held in place by metal cables. The view takes in the Mont Blanc range and Lake Geneva. The walk is about 3.8 km one way, with some 480 m of climbing.
