Trail description
A 6.5 km climb of about 740 m from the Col du Tourmalet past the Laquets lakes to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre at 2,877 m, with its observatory on the summit. Most of the way follows the old supply track; from the top the view runs along the whole chain of the Pyrenees. A cable car runs down to La Mongie.
