Trail description

A steep 3.6 km climb of about 580 m from the Refuge des Cortalets to the Pic du Canigou at 2,785 m, the sacred mountain of Catalonia. The stony path climbs the last slopes to the summit cross; each June the flame for the midsummer fires of Sant Joan is lit here.
