Trail description
An 8 km mountain walk with about 955 m of climbing over the Col de la Grande Écaille and the Col d'Enclave, near 2,700 m, down to the Lacs Jovet in the Contamines-Montjoie nature reserve. The five lakes, two large and three small, lie at the foot of the Monts Jovet and the Mont Tondu. They are usually reached from the Jovet chalets above Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge.
