Trail description

A steep climb from the road end in the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval above Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval up through the cliffs by the Pas du Boret to the Refuge de la Vogealle and the high Lac de la Vogealle at about 2,000 m. About 14 km out and back with some 1,080 m of climbing. The path through the Pas du Boret is steep and exposed in places and is for sure-footed walkers in dry weather.
